Why now

Preparedness is going mainstream

In late 2026, the United Kingdom launched its "Be Ready" campaign asking households to keep 72 hours of supplies. France and Japan ran similar campaigns, and countries including Canada, Mexico and the Netherlands have long recommended a 72 hour kit.

In the United States, Ready.gov recommends at least three days of food and water for every household. News reports also say the Pentagon is planning for major military bases to run 90 days without outside support. That is a military standard, not household advice, but it is a good reminder that disruptions can last longer than we expect.

You do not need to panic or spend a fortune. You need a plan, and you can start today.
